I happened upon Intervention by chance on a Saturday las year, and IT SUCKED ME IN. I can't watch it...I get into the people and situations and every episode leaves me in tears saying something like "doesn't he know they LOVE HIM?". Ugh. That show...it's a dangerous one.
I just saw the end, and oddly enough, my hsuband and I watched Bridezillas last Saturday. What a trainwreck! We couldn't stop watching as we sat in mute horror over the things these woman said and did.
And then we felt better about ourselves because, like Fred, we weren't like them. :-)
My husband hates Intervention. He thinks it's too depressing, but I feel like it's the turning point for those desperate families. I cannot look away.. well except when the addicts are shooting up. I can't watch that.
