Could be, Paula. I've had this skein for over a year and it is still glowing. I bet it is better not to leave it in a sunny or bright area most of the time.
Quilt- It's a thread that glows already. It's manufactured by DMC and you might find it if you look carefully in the embroidery floss section of your craft or sewing store.
almost looks like something you'd see under a microscope. ha!
